a beautiful and intelligent logo. english speakers will read “typo” while the spanish ones “tipo”. thumbs up :D
http://thecaseandpoint.com/2011/01/tipo-e/
The logo was developed by Aoife Mooney for a Spanish language typography-oriented publishing house, Tipo-e, the brainchild of Elena Veguillas and Manuel Sesma , with the intention of providing a forum for Spanish speaking typophiles, typographers and type designers. As the content of Tipo-e’s publications would be concerned with typography and often specific typefaces and type designers, Elena and Manuel wanted a logo that was unique and not tied to any one typographic style or period which would serve as a signature for the project, and convey warmth, familiarity and community.
